On the evening of the 9th December, our team were already present in the local quarry, when we were alerted to an injured individual who had sustained a significant fall from height and damaged their knee. Our team were prompt in response, and administered first aid, support, and promptly triggered a rescue effort, involving MCR, SWAST, HART and Wiltshire Police. The individual was stretchered out of the quarry by rescue personnel, treated in an ambulance, before being safely transported to hospital where he has undergone treatment for his injuries.
